Dr. Eric Afful-Dadzie is a trained data scientist with 8 years of practice both in academia and industry. He is a Senior lecturer at the Department of Operations and Management Information Systems, University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and the CEO of MData Consult Ltd, a data analytics firm. He is also a Queen Elizabeth II Scholar (QES) at McGill University, Canada.
Dr. Afful-Dadzie was awarded the most promising researcher award at University of Ghana Business School. Dr. Eric Afful-Dadzie has consulted and trained several organizations in Ghana such as ABSA, Jospong Group, Accra Compost and Recycling Plant (ACARP), Kaman Investments, Subah Info Solutions, Bunge Croklaan, HPW Fresh and Dry, Marie Stopes International, Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), GCNET, as well as training hundred others in public trainings. He has a thorough understanding of data science techniques, data management and data governance, and is proficient in a number of analytics tools including R, Matlab, E-Views, Python for analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, RapidMiner and XLSTAT.
As an academic, he has authored a number of articles in top reputable journals such as Government Information Quarterly, International Journal of Information Management, Management Decision, Applied Energy, Applied artificial Intelligence, Quality & Quantity, Kybernetes, Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis among others.
